How ’bout Urth in Santa Monica?
The one on Beverly in Beverly Hills is in a really sweet house, so I like that one too. (Gotta admit, I tend to avoid the one on Melrose, though.)
The Coffee Table in Silverlake – been going there for 10 years [La Mill is awfully pretentious].
I’ve never been to Coffee Table. Thanks! And I agree with you about LA Mill… some people like it, though.
Coffee Table in Eagle Rock.
Try the Eggs from Hell, I dare you.
I’ve been told ?swork is pretty good, but I’ve only been there briefly (quick drink and potty stop).
Gayle’s Perks in North Hills. Heaven in a strip mall.
What about Aroma cafe in Studio City? Def my fav! Part of the reason my office is over there is to go to Aroma and have a cup of coffee from time to time.
Okay, now I *REALLY* want to work with you, Stuart. Aroma is my dog’s VERY favorite hangout for stranger love and butt-sniffing. I was just there last night!
I ALMOST put Aroma because it’s actually been one of my favorite hangs for years, but I decided not to put it *solely* because it’s got a full menu too. Didn’t seem fair to compare Aroma to Priscilla’s… but then now that I think about it King’s Road has a full menu too, doesn’t it? Oh well, so much for that.
Maybe I didn’t include it because it’s already too crowded and I want it to stay hidden. :)
